Attend a School Improvement Team Meeting!

The School Improvement Team (formerly School Leadership Team) is comprised of school administration, teachers, and parents from HMM. Its primary function is to facilitate in the development of the school improvement plan, monitor and assess the implementation of that plan, and make amendments as necessary. The team will help to advance policies and procedures that will enhance achievement and meet educational, safety, and parent involvement goals. Lastly, the group will support decision making efforts by the school and assist in the communication thereof. If you are not sure if your child's classroom has a volunteer, please check with your child's teacher.

ALL PARENTS ARE WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND!

Dates and times for future meetings will be posted soon! 

If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions that you would like to address with the HMM staff and administration, these meetings are your opportunity to do that. If you would like to add an item to the agenda for discussion for one of the meetings, please contact Beth Leo at beth.leo@cms.k12.nc.us. Each classroom has a room parent as well if you would like to contact them regarding issues about the classroom.
