The year is chugging along- students are learning, teachers are guiding them through lessons and teaching them the tools they will need to master each work and assignment they are given. Now is especially important to keep reading and reinforcing lessons and tools they learn at home. Work with them on their fractions when you prepare meals. Read each and every day. Talk to them about their lessons that they are guided through and find ways to apply them in your everyday life.
SPRING DANCE
The HMM Spring Dance will be held on March 12th from 7pm-10pm at the Oasis Shriners (where it was held last year). Only 225 tickets will be sold. Order your tickets now before they sell out! if you have any questions, please contact the PTA at [email protected].
BounceU Spirit Night--TICKETS ON SALE NOW!
Our next HMM Spirit Night will be Thursday, 2/18 at BounceU Charlotte (10624 Metromont Pkwy) from 6-8pm. Tickets for the BounceU event are limited, must be purchased in advance and will be on sale starting this week through Monday, 2/15. The cost for each two-hour bounce pass is $8 for all ages with ALL proceeds from ticket sales being donated back to HMM. It's going to be a bouncing good time and a great way to raise money for our school, so please mark your calendar and plan to attend. More information and details on ticket sales will be included in this week's Thursday folder.
SLT (Student Leadership Team) Meetings
Join the SLT at their monthly meetings every 3rd Thursday at 8am. The group gets together and discusses student/school decisions that are important to not only the school but our students as well. This is your opportunity to discover what is going on with the school and share concerns. All parents are urged to attend! The next meeting will be held on February 18th!! We have created a virtual option for parents who can’t attend as well: https://www.smore.com/0gcnmPlease visit the virtual portal to get meeting minutes and become a part of the HMM community.

HMM has two Spirit Rocks available for painting! If you'd like to paint the Spirit Rock, you must first check to see if the date is available on the Spirit Rock calendar here. If your date is available, then please fill out this form and send in $10 to HMM PTA. Once the money is received, the PTA will reserve the date on the calendar. Can’t wait to see all your beautiful Spirit Rock creations!
